Meet Hayley Love
Hayley’s passion for health and fitness stemmed from her own personal health struggles while growing up. While working towards making herself feel normal and healthy again, she decided she needed to help others feel the same way. Obtaining her personal training and functional diagnostic nutrition certification were some of the first steps towards reaching that goal.
Hayley believes that balance is the ruler of everything. No one will ever be perfect on their health building journey. Our job is to build small healthy habits and make foundational corrections in your life to help you feel like the best version of yourself. At Lovewell Wellness, Hayley will use foundational lab test results to find these hidden dysfunctions in your body and will address the entire body as opposed to a single test result that comes back. Restoring balance and function in your body is the ultimate goal.
Dive deep and find the hidden stressors that are within your own body. Aid in balancing your hormones, restoring gut function, improve your sleep, work on detoxification, and feel better.
I started Lovewell Living because of my own health struggles...
My family has always liked to call me the “complicated child” when it came to health. I struggled with asthma, severe allergies, chronic ear infections, psoriasis, was diagnosed with PMOS (previously PCOS), extremely painful periods, bad PMS symptoms throughout my cycle, and I got sick nearly every season. I went to all kinds of specialists to get to the bottom of my symptoms, but each one of them just wanted to put me on medications or use surgical fixes. So I just suffered.
In my late teenage years and early twenties, I gained a lot of weight and nearly lost my menstrual cycle. I was working out six days a week, intermittent fasting, eating healthy foods, getting eight hours of sleep, taking supplements, and yet I never lost any weight, I was fatigued each day, felt constantly inflamed, experienced general anxiety each day, and had no answers why nothing was working for me.
That is until I found Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN). Honestly, I added the FDN certification only to add value to my personal training certification and to continue helping others. Little did I know the FDN methodology would completely change my life. In the FDN curriculum, you are your own first client. I ran all six of the labs on myself, fully expecting to have relatively normal results, yet I was presented with the exact opposite. My cortisol pattern was low throughout the day, my sex hormones were all crashing, my digestion was compromised, my liver, gallbladder, and pancreas were in a state of dysfunction, and my gut was inflamed. My body was slowly but surely shutting down and I was facilitating the process.
With that information, I was still extremely weary of how the 90 day protocol was going to go for me. Nothing had ever worked before and no doctor’s ever told me to do something like this so why would it work now? Either way, I told myself to commit for 90 days so that I wasn’t a liar when I asked others to follow a personalized protocol for 90 days. After my 90 day protocol, I could lay off and go back to normal.
Then I started to feel better. There were symptoms I didn’t even realize were symptoms I was experiencing going away. My menstrual cycle came back and regulated, I lost 15 pounds over the course of a few months, my hair was growing back thicker, my psoriasis started clearing up, my skin started to look better, I stopped crashing in the afternoons, my anxiety dwindled right before my eyes, my allergies greatly improved, and I didn’t feel as inflamed in my own body.
Quickly, I realized, I was not eating enough at all, I was not eating nutrient dense foods, I consumed foods I was highly sensitive to each day, I was not digesting my food properly, I did not manage my stress well, I was not giving my body the recovery it needed, I over exercised, my detoxification pathways were backed up, and my body was in a state of constant battle with itself.
Then I wondered, how many other people could be experiencing this exact same thing?
That is my goal here with Lovewell Living. I want to give each person a chance at the transformation that I was able to experience and not just a physical one, a mental transformation. I restored function to my own body and felt like myself again, even when I didn’t realize I was losing her. I thought I was doing everything right to be as healthy as I could, but I was hurting myself in the process. Every doctor and advisor I ever listened to before, thought I was completely normal, but in reality, I just wasn’t sick enough to need any treatment. My symptoms deserved to be heard and correctly cared for. Let me be the one who listens to you.
